Auch wir als ehrenamtlich getragene Stötteritzer Nachbarschaftsinitiative sind fassungslos ob des Krieges in der Ukraine. Die Schicksale der Geflüchteten machen uns sehr betroffen. Wenngleich die traumatischen Erlebnisse dieser Menschen sicher kaum von uns zu lindern sind, so möchten wir doch versuchen, ihr Ankommen in Leipzig und ihr Leben fernab ihrer Heimat und ihrer Familien etwas aufzuhellen. Deswegen wollen wir so schnell wie möglich Kinder und Jugendliche sowie deren erwachsenen Begleitpersonen zu einem regelmäßigen SpielTreff auf dem öffentlichen Spielplatz am Klangberg (Freizeitpark Südost/Augustiner Straße, 04299 Leipzig) einladen. Vorerst jeden Donnerstagnachmittag werden wir zum Spielplatz einen Fundus an Outdoor-Spielzeug für Kleinkinder, Kinder und Jugendliche mitbringen: Basket- und Fußbälle, Wikinger-Schach, Kreide, Gummi-Twists, Federball- und Tischtennisschläger, Sandspielzeug oder Frisbees gehören dazu. Auch bringen wir Kaffee, Tee und selbstgebackenen Kuchen mit. So wollen wir eine offene und herzliche Atmosphäre schaffen, die es den Geflüchteten aus der Ukraine erleichtert, mit Menschen aus Stötteritz und Probstheida in Kontakt zu kommen.
Zum SpielTreff laden wir bewusst nicht ausschließlich ukrainische Geflüchtete ein. Vielmehr soll der SpielTreff ein offener Ort für all jene Menschen sein, denen das Wohl von Kindern und Jugendlichen am Herzen liegt und die gerne in Austausch mit Menschen aus der Ukraine und darüber hinaus treten möchten. Wir hoffen, dass die gemeinsamen Nachmittage Abwechslung und Freude bereiten, neue Kontakte entstehen lassen, aus denen Freundschaften oder weitere Unterstützung erwachsen werden. Getragen wird der SpielTreff zunächst vom Kern-Team der Nachbarschaftsinitiative Tausch dich aus. Idealerweise finden wir beim SpielTreff, über Online-Kanäle oder unserem regelmäßig stattfindenden Verschenke-Markt weitere Ehrenamtliche, so dass wir das Angebot beispielsweise auch auf andere Wochentage ausweiten könnten.
